Acorn by are a well-established manufacturing company based in Henstridge, and we are currently looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. We specialize in producing high-quality products using the latest technology and machinery. If you have experience in operating manual and CNC-based machinery, then we want to hear from you!

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of machinery including but not limited to lathes, drill presses, and CNC machines. You will be required to read drawings, set up the machines, and adjust them to meet the required specifications. Attention to detail, a keen eye for precision, and ability to read technical drawings are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating manual and CNC-based machinery.
  • Reading drawings and making adjustments to the machines accordingly.
  • Banding, palletizing, bagging, and preparing products for loading.
  • Reporting any machine faults to the supervisor.
  • Adhering to material processing requirements and tolerances.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
  • Operating FLT for loading and off-loading the machine.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
