The Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic and proactive Quality Specialist to join our team at Magor Brewery. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the site meets all requirements relating to EHS, Food/Feed Integrity, and GMP (including HACCP). You’ll collaborate across functions to support audit readiness, drive continuous improvement, and lead on quality-related initiatives, contributing to the site’s overall performance and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure ongoing compliance with EHS, Food/Feed Integrity, GMP, and HACCP standards
Support Zone Brewery Support Audits and implement effective action plans
Co-ordinate and monitor VPO audit requirements and quality improvement activities
Analyse microbiological results, co-ordinate testing, and follow up on actions as needed
Lead and contribute to site HACCP activities as part of the HACCP team
Develop, manage, and report on KPI systems and data capture processes
Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for Brewing Quality, Food/Feed Safety, and Microbiology
Co-ordinate external audits (e.g. FEMAS & BRC) and ensure action plans are in place and followed up
Drive Quality Improvement Initiatives and lead Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycles
Deliver responsibilities in line with role-specific checklists and attend relevant meetings as scheduled
