Summary

Deputy Nursery Manager – Level 3 Early Years | Up to £33,000

Our client, a welcoming Montessori-based nursery with a Good Ofsted rating, is looking for an experienced and passionate Deputy Nursery Manager to join their leadership team. What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) – essential.
• Proven Deputy Manager experience in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of both the Montessori approach and EYFS requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in the overall leadership and smooth running of the nursery.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor staff to create a positive, inclusive, and collaborative working culture.
• Ensure the Montessori philosophy and EYFS standards are embedded throughout daily practice.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, and ratios when the Nursery Manager is absent.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and external partners.
• Contribute to staff development through training, feedback, and performance reviews.
