Summary
Calling all experienced Multi Skill Trades Painter and Decorators - can you give our homes the perfect finish?
We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our talented and busy Programme team and help maintain our homes in and around the Evesham, Bishops Cleeve, Tewkesbury and Pershore area.
What could you be doing?
Putting the finishing touch to our Kitchens and Bathrooms you will be an important part of a busy team delivering Kitchen and Bathroom fittings in this area. With a passion for detail, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative. If you also have additional trade skills, especially experience of tiling you should really get in touch!
We want somebody who can:
A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.
Some things we need from you:
• You will have served an apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or obtained an equivalent City & Guilds qualification
• Extensive time served in Painting, Decorating and associated trade skills
• It would be desirable if you had tiling skills but if not a willingness to learn tiling as this will be part of the role
• Good organisational skills
• Experience of keeping jobs on track
• Takes ownership, responsibility for their tasks and has a right first-time approach
• Works well alone but also as part of a team
• The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently whilst meeting strict deadlines
• Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
• As you will be working in customers’ homes you will need a DBS check.

This role is a permanent contract with Platform Housing Group/ Platform Property Care, working predominantly on a contract supplying repairs and maintenance to Rooftop Housing Group.
