Tearoom Manager
The Secret Garden Tearoom are Hiring.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, energetic, cable person to join our team as a manager and oversee expansion. At our tearoom located at Standard Quay- ME13 7BS, known for its homemade cakes, scones, and friendly atmosphere.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Managing daily operations and ensuring high standards of service
• Supervising, training, and motivating a small front-of-house team.
• Coordinating with the kitchen team to maintain smooth service
• Managing stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring costs
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety standards
• Assisting with marketing, promotions, and occasional events
What We are Looking For:
• Previous experience in hospitality or café/tearoom management
• Professional, business attitude.
• A friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety (Level 2 or 3 preferred)
• Weekend availability.
