Delivering hands-on technical security systems training programmes to a worldwide audience including Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), Access Control, Intruder Alarms and control room operations, Tavcom continues to educate 1000's of learners within the security sector every year.

We are currently seeking an Administrator to join our new Birmingham training centre.

Role Overview

Working in a small team and reporting to the Senior administrator this role involves carrying out all the task associated with administrative duties but with some additional customer facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

-Welcome and support delegates attending the Birmingham training centre

-Maintain and update customer databases

-Provide regular reports to management

-Attend internal meetings

-Compile and print materials for classroom courses

-Confirm delegate attendance

-Process completed classroom material

-Issue certificates

-Issue letters

-Process BTEC certification Registrations

-Organise replacement certificates, payment and postage

-Ordering of all office and training centre consumables, along with other invoices received from our suppliers that required purchase orders

-Raise and receive purchase orders

-Book car parking spaces & training rooms

-Monitor and action admin/personal emails

-Transfers to be actioned as and when and new invoices/credit notes/joining instructions are to be issued

Skills & Experience Required

-Highly motivated and able to work within a team.

-Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

-Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
