Summary
Recruitment Professionals, a leading recruitment agency for the Early Years and Nursery sector, is recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in the N12 area of North London.
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader to join a dedicated team working with children under 2 years old. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and early years education in a supportive and nurturing environment.
• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Alternate weekly shifts: Week 1 – 7:50am to 4:50pm, Week 2 – 9:00am to 6:00pm)
• Contract: Permanent, All Year Round (50 weeks per year)
• Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for young children.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room (Room Leader role only).
Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous nursery experience (Room Leader applicants should have leadership experience).
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work alternate shift patterns.
