Summary
The post holder will support the delivery of the North of Tyne Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP) through the planning and implementation of evidence-based health promotion and improvement activities. The role focuses on reducing health inequalities, increasing screening uptake, and improving health outcomes across the local population. The practitioner will work across multiple healthcare settings, using clinical and community outreach to engage individuals and groups, particularly those who are underserved or at risk. The role will require proficiency in using several patient-related databases and IT systems, a deep understanding of public health and screening objectives, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. The practitioner will also contribute to service development, innovation, and quality improvement.
