Mon - Fri = 8am to 2pm (30 hours a week)

Hourly pay rate:
£12.75 rising to £13.75 after Two week trial

We are looking to add to our existing team of carers who support a lovely 34 year old man with CP who has a great sense of humour.

Duties include supporting him with all aspects of his day to day care.

Hoisting required. Clean food cert required. References required.

You will be supporting a man who enjoys music, boxing training, Yoga and drama sessions each week. He also swims often in own pool.

Must be comfortable around animals, dog, chickens, all calm and friendly.

Duties include:
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Housekeeping
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Dressing / undressing
- Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
