Summary

Overview
The Project Mentor will focus on ETF contracts and projects, working predominantly with adult participants to provide high-quality coaching and mentoring support. This role requires a multiskilled and adaptable approach, as you will often be involved in more than one project across a range of contracts and initiatives.

A background in employment support is essential. With the assistance of the Contract Manager, you will ensure participants are directed to appropriate support services while supporting their personal and professional development. The Project Mentor will prioritise achieving positive outcomes and enabling the progression of individuals, particularly adults seeking to overcome barriers to employment or training.

You will be responsible for managing your time effectively, tracking individual achievements, and collaborating with support networks, employers, and other stakeholders. The aim is to foster a team-oriented and empowering environment that is positive, engaging, and outcome-focused for all involved.

Qualifications
Level 4 Information, Advice and Guidance (or willing to undertake in first 12 months)

Vocational Subject at a level 3 or above that relates to life skills (essential) e.g.Maths/English/ICT, Catering, Employability, Information Advice & Guidance Hospitality/Customer Service, Youth Work

Literacy/Numeracy level 2 or equivalent (essential)

Skills
Experience of delivering Information advice and guidance
Experience of supporting individuals to overcome barriers
Experience of coaching or mentoring
