I am a 19 year old, neuro-diverse young man interested in Manga comics, Pokemon, Transformers and Anime.
I live with my parents and we have 2 dogs, a cat and a tortoise.
I am looking for a pro-active, reliable Support Worker to support me with learning life skills and becoming more independent.
You will be required to prompt/encourage me with personal care tasks, cleaning/tidying my room and providing companionship.
I also need support with planning journeys, using public transport and building social relationships outside of the home. Will need to be kept safe and supervised at all times.
Experience of working with neuro-diverse people is essential. Ideally I would like my Support Worker to be able to engage with my interests.
Duties include:
- Companionship
- Prompting/encouraging to become independent with personal care tasks, keeping room clean and tidy, learning life skills.
- Supporting with planning journeys and using public transport.
- Support with developing friendships outside of the home, accessing community facilities.
- Keeping safe at all times.
Candidate qualities:

- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
