KITCHEN ASSISTANT, THE ROBIN CENTRE, JOB DESCRIPTION
The Robin Centre is a day centre for the elderly, located within the All Saints Centre in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving a light breakfast, preparing and serving lunch, (most lunches are brought in from external provider, but you will be responsible for making sandwiches for a few clients, and desert for everyone), and preparing tea and biscuits in the afternoon for our clients. You will also need to cater for individual dietary needs and preferences, including allergies and medical conditions for up to 20 people a day. After meals, you will clean and clear away dishes and ensure the kitchen is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Adhering to food safety regulations is essential. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being of people living with dementia in a caring, respectful environment.
