Summary

Job Responsibilities
Generate new opportunities through high- volume outbound prospecting from a strong account database.
Managing and growing opportunities from existing client base
Driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
To develop and maintain strong communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
To maintain client records accurately on the CRM system
To establish product pricing based on detailed and confirmed client specifications, based on agreed material costs, production run speeds, defined production quantities and defined number of products
To ensure major clients provide regular and updated forecasts on demand by product line and liaise with Production teams to ensure these are processed in line with required delivery dates.

Person Specification
A proven track record of outbound sales experience (minimum 12 months)
Being respectful and courteous to customers and colleagues.
Highly driven to succeed.
High levels of communication and interpersonal skills.
A good standard of written and spoken English and Maths.
Ability to work both independently and collectively.
Efficient, effective and with demonstrable attention to detail.
Open and honest attitude.
Disciplined time keeping
Experience in the Optical trade an advantage
Proactive continuously develop and maintain knowledge, understanding and awareness of company products and processes
Willingness to continually seek to develop commercial awareness and the wider implications on actions and decisions both internally and externally.
Demonstrate a passion and commitment to service excellence.
