The successful candidate will: Provide project management support and lead change programmes, championing best practice initiatives that promote excellence. Develop and deliver the workplans to support the national guidance for personalised cancer care, SACT & treatment variation Ensure collaborative working with key stakeholders with accurate and open communication. Have excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, manage and deliver a portfolio of projects, juggle competing priorities, tight deadlines and work autonomously to drive own work programme. Be a clear communicator with good written and presentation skills. The Clinical Pathway manager will support the delivery of the NHS England Cancer NHS Long term plan and national operational guidance to understand treatment variation, Systemic Anti Cancer Treatments (SACT) delivery and personalised care in cancer services across the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance (TVCA). The role will work closely with Trusts, the TVCA pathway managers and the clinical advisory group leads for specific tumour sites delivering national priorities on treatment variation, SACT and Personalised Care. The role will also support the delivery of SACT project with a system approach to deliver recommendations of our capacity, demand and workforce report. This includes delivering care closer to home and making quality improvements to SACT services across the alliance. The role will also support reporting on the personalised care workstream including data collection, prehabilitation and psychology services. Scoping and delivering on alliance agreed requirements will be a priority. Development of mutually agreed project plans with Project Management Office (PMO) monthly and quarterly reporting against objectives and milestones using appropriate project management tools is essential. The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery.
