Summary

An opportunity has arisen within Sunderland City Council for the role of Maintenance Operative Technical (Electrician).



The role will involve working in domestic, industrial and commercial buildings carrying out a range of trade activities; CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, emergency lighting systems and electrical installations.andnbsp;



Working alongside colleagues within the Repairs and Maintenance section you will ensure that work is delivered to a high standard and meet our quality and performance expectations.



Moving forward our focus is on improving, developing and growing the department to ensure we are providing a sustainable service to all customers.andnbsp; This role plays a key part in driving this ambition forward.



To succeed in this role applicants must have relevant trade qualifications with Electrical Inspection and Testing an advantage.andnbsp;



Experience of working within a busy operational repairs and maintenance department is also a desired advantage in this role.



A full driving license will be required to carry out this role and a works vehicle will be allocated to all successful candidates upon appointment.
