Randstad Education is working with a primary school in Knowsley Village to recruit a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child in Y6 with ASD. This term-time role offers the chance to make a real difference, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. The role is full time to start on 1st September, you will need to have previous experience supporting children with SEN within a primary school and a minimum level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-on-one support to a child with Autism within the Y6 class and also support other children within the classroom.
- Act as a positive role model, building strong and supportive relationships with students.
- Work with the class teacher to support lesson delivery within the Y6 classroom
- Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism in all interactions.
- UK school experience is essential to be considered for this role.
