Summary
Maintenance Worker Required
Roles and Responsibilities
- General Maintenance:
- perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
- Repairs:
- Handle necessary repairs, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
- Emergency Response:
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues, such as leaks or equipment failures, to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Installation: Install appliances and equipment, ensuring compliance with local and state building codes.
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of repair supplies and equipment, ordering new materials as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Physical Stamina:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong attention to detail to identify potential issues and ensure high-quality work.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to diagnose problems and develop effective solutions quickly.
- Communication Skills:
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
