Location: Home based with regional travel

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Pay: £60,000 per annum plus £3k car allowance or £6k electric car allowance

Contract: Fixed term 12 months (possibility of permanent)

We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic leader to join Oakland Care as our Head of AI and Business Improvement. In this role, you will partner with Directors and department leads across HR, Operations, Care Quality & Safety, and more to review current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and performance. You will play a key role in driving technological innovation by identifying, trialling, and implementing AI and software solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and support better decision-making across the business.

A major part of your work will involve using predictive analytics to support recruitment, retention, and talent development, while also creating data-driven business cases to justify investments and improvements. You will manage end-to-end projects, from defining KPIs and success metrics to ensuring timely delivery and adoption across all levels of the organisation. Engaging stakeholders effectively and promoting a culture of continuous improvement will be crucial to your success, as will your ability to communicate measurable results to the Board of Directors through clear, evidence-based reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business improvement, digital transformation, and project management, with hands-on experience in AI, software implementation, and data analysis. You should bring excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and a people-focused approach—especially in the sensitive care home environment.
