A day in the life of a Murphy Civil/ Structural Project Engineer
- Provide expertise in Civil / Structural elements within Gas industry projects
- Leading Civil / Structural aspects of multi-discipline projects from concept through to completion
- Assist with the development of the Civil / structural work scope, delivery strategy and programme
- Assist with the development and review of Civil / Structural designs in accordance with project programme.
- Management of installation and Inspection / Testing requirements
- Able to challenge technical specifications.
- Development and management of Inspection and Testing documentation
- Co-ordination of key stakeholders to achieve a successful delivery of various projects
- Attend and lead discipline specific meetings with key stakeholders and sub-contractors
- Collaborate with the supply chain partners’ requirements and incorporate into the project programme

- Good knowledge of Civil, Structures, and Structural Steelwork.
- Good knowledge of design, process safety, and procurement.
- Ability to manage and coordinate Civil / Structural aspects of large EPC projects.
- Preferably relevant Engineering degree qualified, minimum HNC.
