About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Liverpool. This role involves working with students who have a range of needs, including autism spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
Student Engagement: Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation
Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive atmosphere through effective behaviour management strategies
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote student success
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training to stay current with best practices in SEND education
Safeguarding: Uphold and implement safeguarding policies to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all pupils

About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in SEND settings or with pupils with additional needs
A nurturing, patient, and adaptable teaching style
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Desirable: Training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or TEACCH
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
