Salary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Working hours: 3 days per week (9:30am - 3:30pm)

About the school:
A nurturing and supportive alternative provision in Croydon providing education for students with SEN and SEMH needs. The setting is small, with a strong focus on personalised learning and emotional development.

About the role:
You will be responsible for delivering Functional Skills English to small groups of learners aged 11-16, many of whom have barriers to learning. The curriculum is tailored to meet individual needs and foster confidence in literacy.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
- Plan and deliver Functional Skills English lessons
- Engage learners through creative and accessible content
- Support students in achieving individual learning goals
- Collaborate with staff to implement EHCP strategies
- Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements -
The ideal candidate would have:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification (desirable)
- Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH learners
- Strong understanding of Functional Skills English curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Patience, resilience, and a student-centred approach
