We’re looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join the prestigious team at Stowe School. This role offers the chance to showcase your pastry skills in a stunning environment, working with a supportive team to create exceptional desserts and baked goods for students, staff, and special events. Due to the challenging location of Stowe School, candidates must either drive or have their own mode of transport to reach the location.

Job Description

  • The Pastry Chef is responsible for supporting the Head Pastry Chef and Executive Head Chef in all aspects of the bakery section.
  • Completing inventories and food requisitions.
  • Managing and training kitchen staff.
  • Supervising the production of pastries and desserts for service and functions.
  • Responsible for ensuring food quality according to department standards and ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in accordance with the Holroyd Howe standards.


Qualifications

  • Must be able to demonstrate that you have extensive Pastry Chef experience, ideally within contract-catering or other high-profile, high-volume operations.
