Summary
Job Title: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day Driver – Trunking & General Haulage – Tamworth
Location: Tamworth
Job Type: Ongoing / Long-Term
Pay: £19.00 per hour – paid weekly (PAYE or LTD Company)
Start Date: Immediate starts available
We’re looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing day shifts in the Tamworth area.
This is a long-term opportunity offering immediate starts, plenty of hours, and straightforward trunking work with minimal handball. Ideal for drivers looking for consistency, fair pay, and a supportive agency.
The Role:
Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on day trunking routes
General haulage work – no store deliveries or multi-drop
Securing loads safely and performing daily vehicle checks
Completing paperwork and PODs accurately
Acting as a professional representative of the client at all times
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 18 months’ Class 1 driving experience
Safety-first approach, with a reliable and professional attitude
