ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in a busy, people-focused environment? Kidderminster College is looking for a friendly, proactive, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our college.

About the Role:

As our Receptionist, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for everyone who walks through our doors. You will provide outstanding support to all service users, ensuring that students, staff, visitors, and stakeholders are greeted warmly and directed appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, students, and staff.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service, dealing with enquiries in person, by phone, or email.
  • Direct individuals to the appropriate team members for more specific support when needed.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional, and efficient reception area.
  • Support the wider administrative team with day-to-day tasks when required.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable, and professional at all times.
  • An excellent communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Organised and able to manage a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident using IT systems and quick to learn new software.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
