Great opportunity to work as a Security Officer for a leading global security and outsourcing group, specialising in outsourcing of business processes in sectors where security and safety risks are considered a strategic threat.
This opportunity is to work at one of the worlds leading pharmaceutical companies based in Sandwich, Kent. You will be required to carry out duties in a corporate environment whilst developing a successful career with the biggest name in security.
Must have an SIA as well as a Full UK Driving License.
Contract Information:
Pay Rate: £16.81 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off. Flexibility required Monday to Sunday, day and night shift rotation.
Hours per week: 42 hours (average)
SIA Licenses: Security Guarding or Door Supervisor.

Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer, you will ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
It's a varied role and your duties will include the following:
Ensure that irregular patrols ensuring that all areas of Pfizer space are checked regularly.
Assist in the implementation of response plans in an Emergency.
To act as the incident controller in the event of an Incident
Responsible for recording the details of an incident and communicating them to the Control Room to ensure that all incidents are effectively recorded in the absence of the Team Leader
Maintain records of allocated responsibility; Keys, Fire Doors, LPT Vehicle etc.
Support the delivery of estate improvement projects which may have security implications.
Operational competence in the use of S2 system
Able to carry out on-site and Europe security badging
Carry out basic fire safety checks
Monitor business critical systems and identify faults and escalate as appropriate.
Carry out the role of Incident Controller at an Incident
Maintain a First Responder Qualification
Provide Site Induction training for all contractors
Supervision of the site security team
Carry out irregular foot patrols of all Pfizer space to ensure that the space is secure and in good order.
Monitor CCTV and Alarm systems to ensure the safety and security of the Pfizer sites.
Escort visitors, Control Drug shipments and site contractors in restricted space.
Ensure that only authorised personnel are admitted to site utilising the S2 system.
Retrieve any articles, discovered during patrols, and secure them using the correct procedure.
Support initiatives to improve security and safety on site.
Safe keeping and issuing of keys.
Communicate and report any breaches of site security and Health and Safety

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
