Summary
Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Service Desk Administrator for our client based in South Lanarkshire.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join a fast-paced service team. As the first point of contact for clients, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating service requests, supporting engineers, and ensuring administrative processes are carried out efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and respond to service desk emails and calls in a prompt and professional manner
Coordinate daily schedules for engineers and liaise with clients to confirm appointments
Raise and manage maintenance, quoted, and reactive jobs within internal systems
Review engineering reports and issue them to clients in a timely manner
Follow up on remedial works, quotations, and outstanding actions
Communicate job progress updates to clients and internal teams
Order parts and manage purchase order processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date system records, logs, and client information
Ensure compliance with internal KPIs and service standards
Assist with invoicing and support the preparation of quotations
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in a technical or service-based environment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Competent in Microsoft Office and internal CRM/job management systems
A proactive and detail-oriented approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Offering
Competitive salary depending on experience
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
Holidays 28 days including statutory public holidays
