Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our team on Woodpecker ward. There are 3 full time posts but we would consider part time also.

• To provide high quality, individualised nursing care to patients and their parents/carers through working as an effective member of the inter-disciplinary team. This will include completing assessments and maintaining tailored care plans.
• You will be responsible for and manage your caseload, reporting to the nurse in charge.
• As the successful candidate you will support and drive innovation and will work collaboratively across the multidisciplinary team.
• To contribute to the supervision, assessment and education/development of ward staff and students.
• To contribute to the continuing development of nursing practice through research and audit.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care to a defined patient group either within the acute hospital. They are responsible for the assessment, development, delivery and evaluation of evidence based individualised patient care within the boundaries of their role. The post holder will contribute to the continuing development of standards of care including developments of nursing standards and monitoring of outcomes. The post holder will be expected to continue with their own professional development.
