Summary

Available Roles & Pay 1. Extrusion Setter – Permanent Days

• Shift: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00

  2. Extrusion Setter – Rotating Shifts

  • Shift Options:

    • Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00

      
      

    • Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 18:00 – 06:00

      
      
      

    • Pay: Up to £40,560

      
      

    • Shift Allowance: 22% (days), 25% (nights)

      
      Key Responsibilities

      • Set and operate Corrugation or Crosshead Extrusion machines depending on experience.

        
        

      • Monitor machine performance and maintain optimum running conditions.

        
        

      • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and finished products.

        
        

      • Maintain, clean, and care for tooling and equipment.

        
        

      • Accurately complete production and quality records.

        
        

      • Follow and promote 5S standards and good housekeeping practices.

        
        

      • Proactively support continuous improvement initiatives.

        
        

      • Adhere to strict Health & Safety procedures at all times.

        
        

      • Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Team Leader.

        • Previous experience setting and operating extrusion machines (corrugation or crosshead).

          
          

        • Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability.

          
          

        • High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

          
          

        • A positive team player who can also work independently.

          
          

        • Excellent time management and communication skills.

          
          

        • Ability to work to tight deadlines and production targets.

          
          

        • Strong commitment to workplace safety and best practices.
