Self-Employed support worker needed to support me to access the community. I’m looking for someone special who can support me to get back to some form of normality. I have an acquired brain injury and will need support for everyday life things.
My memory has been affected but I use reminders on my phone to prompt me but can be easily distracted so may need a reminder from you.
I can access the community but would like to do more and will need your support to get out and about and to attend an Archery session in Lewes every other Saturday.
I have a very loving and supportive family; my partner and my two children are a constant support to me, but they need a break from time to time.

Duties include:
- Transportation
- Companionship
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Must be comfortable with pets
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
