About the role

Are you passionate about driving meaningful change and improving how people work? The University of Plymouth is offering an exciting opportunity to join our HR Partner team as a Change Management Partner, supporting key transformation projects across the institution.

Reporting to the Senior Change Management Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering improved ways of working, streamlining processes, and implementing new and updated technical systems. A key focus of this role will be supporting the development and enhancement of digital student support functions, helping to ensure our services are accessible, efficient, and responsive to student needs. This role is ideal for someone who understands the critical importance of people-focused change in a Higher Education administrative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting large-scale, complex change initiatives across the University.
• Developing and implementing effective change management strategies.
• Managing multiple work streams and navigating competing priorities.
• Building and nurturing stakeholder and change champion networks.
• Conducting change readiness and impact assessments.
• Advising and guiding stakeholders through periods of transformation.
• Leading staff communication and engagement activities.
• Coordinating knowledge transfer and training sessions.
• Evaluating change activities to drive continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Eagerness to support people through workplace change.
• Proven experience in a change-related role within a complex organisation.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving and collaboration.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 12 months due to funding.

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 or 3 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
