Teaching Assistant for SEMH Provision &/or Mainstream

We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team initially within our SEMH provision at Hunnyhill Primary School. All Teaching assistants at Hunnyhill school are subject to different placements within their time at the school depending on pupil needs. This is a great opportunity to build your experience within different year groups, working with a named pupil or within our SEMH provision.

To begin with you will support the social, emotional and mental health of our provision pupils to help them meet their potential, giving you the opportunity of achieving great job satisfaction in an inclusive, positive learning environment.

You will be patient and reliable, be able to work well in a team which works proactively to meet each pupil’s needs and have experience of working with children in an inclusive Primary school setting.

To support this, the ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of teaching and behaviour strategies and you will hold a TA level 2 or 3 qualification.
