About Us
At RoboThink, we run fun, hands-on STEM programmes for children aged 4 to 14 using robotics, coding, and engineering projects. Our sessions are built around creativity, problem-solving and inspiring the next generation of innovators. We operate holiday camps, after-school clubs, and weekend learning centres that give children a world-class STEM learning experience in a fun and friendly environment.
We are currently hiring STEM Instructors to join our dynamic Stanmore team. This is the perfect part-time role for college/university students or early-career graduates looking for flexible, meaningful work with children, while developing real-world leadership, teaching, and tech skills.
What You Will Do:
As a After School Club Instructor, you will:
- Deliver exciting STEM sessions using our kits and lesson plans (no prior robotics knowledge needed – we provide full training!)
- Inspire and guide children aged 4–14 to build their own robots, code games, and solve engineering challenges.
- Help children build confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
- Work in a small team with full support from a Lead Instructor and Training Manager.
- Support classroom behaviour, setup/pack-down, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
- Communicate positively with children, parents, and school staff.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Passionate about working with children and making a difference.
- Are aged between 16 - 26
- Enjoy working with children and want to build communication or teaching skills and is an energetic team player.
- Background or strong interest in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Maths) or education.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- No teaching or STEM experience is needed – just a willingness to learn and a passion for working with kids.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with coding, robotics, or electronics (Scratch, Python, Arduino, etc.)
- Prior experience in childcare, tutoring, summer camps, or youth clubs
