Summary
Identify and mitigate risks to health and wellbeing, assess emergencies, and lead appropriate responses to safeguard children. Act as an advocate to provide empathetic support and transparent information to families and carers, building trust around health concerns. Act as a role model, inspiring the team towards innovative, high-standard practice. Offer specialist guidance to the School Nurse team on vulnerable children and young people, particularly within EOTAS, fostering confidence in service provision. Act as the EOTAS nurse, representing the school nursing service at relevant internal and cross-agency meetings. Proactively assess and address personal professional knowledge and skill needs to maintain your professional development. To maintain the confidentiality and security of written and verbal information that may be used in a professional capacity.
