Summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our busy team within the International Relations Office (IRO).

You will support all aspects of the study abroad and exchange activities with a particular focus on the administration of funding schemes that help students who undertake study and work opportunities abroad. You will also help to develop new short-term opportunities for outgoing Bath students.

About us

We cultivate purposeful international partnerships to enable the University of Bath to maximise global opportunities, reach and reputation.

The IRO consists of two teams working together to advance internationalisation:

* The Partnerships Team is responsible for overseeing our overseas strategic partnerships and academic networks. Team members offer expert advice on international higher education and research collaborations, establishing and managing agreements, coordinating the IRO Funding Schemes, and facilitating capacity-strengthening through transnational education and research. Furthermore, the team supports the University's engagement with international ministries and externally sponsored international students and coordinates the University’s institutional submissions to several international rankings.
* The Mobility Team promotes, coordinates and supports international mobility activities, including the Turing Scheme, and short-term overseas visits and exchange programmes. The team provides information and guidance on applications for both incoming and outgoing students and staff.

About you

You will be an effective team player who can relate well to a wide range of people, including international students, staff, and external stakeholders.

The duties of this busy and varied role require excellent communication skills and a high level of autonomy, and you will:
* possess excellent IT skills.
* be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining close attention to detail in a calm and professional manner.

Previous knowledge and experience of international mobility programmes would be desirable.
