Summary
Job duties include:
Preparation and posting of month-end journals - accruals, prepayments, and cost reallocations.
Perform and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts, investigating any variance.
Proactively building key relationships with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding of the cost base.
Delivery of effective and timely financial information, particularly in the form of month end commentary and monthly cost reviews.
Production of short-term rolling forecasts and biannual budgets.
Perform variance analysis, understanding any deviation from budget and prior years.
Produce ad-hoc financial analysis and insight to inform wider business decisions.
Support year-end audit with reporting and information provision.

Accounting And Taxation Professional Apprenticeship Level 7.
If you’re looking to develop your accountancy skills to lead finance departments or provide management accounting consultancy, CIMA is your ticket. CIMA is split into Certificate, a standalone ‘beginner’ qualification, and Professional, which is split into three levels: Operational, Management, and Strategic.
The Certificate in Business Accounting is your starting point if you're new to accountancy. You'll learn the fundamentals of business economics, financial accounting, management accounting, and ethical considerations of commercial activity.
Operational teaches you about organisational management, costs and analysis used in production, and financial reporting and taxation.
Management equips you with the skills to perform advanced management accounting and advanced financial reporting tasks.
Strategic develops your leadership and strategic management abilities, and teaches you about risk management and financial strategy.
Qualifications required
A Degree or relevant A Levels/ Experience or AAT.
GCSE's grades 9/A* - 4/C including Maths and English.
Skills required
Proficient in Excel.
Prospects
We offer grade and financial incentives to progress based on exam and role performance throughout the CIMA study, with potential to be promoted to manager role (depending on timing and performance)
