Logistics Team Leader (Nights)
Location: West Bromwich
Hours: 39 hours per week

• Sunday – Wednesday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

  
  

• Thursday: 10:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  Salary: £35,490 per annum (includes 25% shift allowance)
  Additional Pay: £150 monthly Supervisor Allowance

  
  About the Role:

  We’re looking for a Logistics Team Leader (Nights) to take ownership of warehouse operations including picking, packing, and dispatching. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values continuous improvement, and can lead by example.

  You’ll ensure smooth nightly operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and support process enhancements while driving performance and team engagement.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the night shift logistics team

    
    

  • Oversee pick, pack, and dispatch to meet deadlines

    
    

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and warehouse housekeeping

    
    

  • Identify and implement process improvements

    
    

  • Manage workload distribution and plan adherence

    
    

  • Handle attendance, return-to-work, and absence management

    
    

  • Identify and support staff training and development

    
    

  • Lead daily briefings and stand-downs

    
    

  • Maintain a safe working environment, promoting H&S compliance

    
    

  • Apply lean practices and 5S methodologies

    
    

  • Escalate operational issues when required

    
    

  • Report on team performance to Logistics Supervisor

    
    

  • Support other team leaders as needed

    
    What You’ll Bring:

    • Valid Reach FLT license – essential

      
      

    • Previous experience in warehouse/logistics supervision

      
      

    • Strong understanding of health & safety practices

      
      

    • Proven leadership and team management skills

      
      

    • Ability to prioritise, delegate, and work under pressure

      
      

    • Excellent communication and a hands-on approach
