Key responsibilities:
As one of 2 Disclosure Support Officers you will work to the Disclosure Team Manager. You will examine and redact a wide range of documents that are required by the Ministry of Defence or by other organisations such as the Omagh Bombing Inquiry or the Coroner Service of Northern Ireland.
You will assist with creation of document schedules, accurate and timely preparation of information for release incl documentation required by ICRIR.
You should be IT literate as you will be required to use various IT systems to retrieve, view, organise and prepare documents of all natures. Training for this can be given on the job.
You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work off your own initiative in order to understand and anticipate the context both historical and current of the documents you are asked to handle.
