Are you interested in working for the largest local authority in Scotland, in partnership with the NHS, to help improve the health and wellbeing of our community? Then, you are in the right place.

We are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our Community Equipment team (Equipu) at Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP).

Equipu provides and maintains assistive technologies for vulnerable citizens across six council partners and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Valley. Equipu oversees the entire process of providing assistive technologies to service users, including delivery, installation, maintenance, removal and recycling of a comprehensive range of equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced operational environment. As an Administration Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, including:
• Handling incoming calls
• Arranging delivery and uplift of community equipment
• Ordering stock
• Responding to general enquiries

To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication and organisational skills, along with a working knowledge of IT systems such as Microsoft Office. Full training and support will be provided.

We’re looking for candidates who are self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering excellent customer service to Equipu partners, service users, and internal teams.

In addition, if you're successful in your job application you'll have access to these generous benefits, which include:
• 25 days (175 hours) paid annual leave, rising to 28 days (196 hours) after 5 years’ service
• 12.5 days (87.5 hours) paid public holidays each year
• Pension Scheme
• Staff Benefit Scheme

These roles are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
