Join us as a Product Manager (Term Lending)
What you'll do
Join Natwest Boxed to lead and be accountable for the success and outcomes of your cross-functional teams building and running the key services to enable our Banking as a Service proposition on top of our central core banking platform. Working in partnership with a Senior Engineering Manager on mission deliverables, you will:
- Develop a vision, strategy and goals to shape the direction and roadmap of your mission team to build, launch, scale and run our banking lending products
- Work across a wide set of stakeholders within NatWest Boxed, NatWest Bank and external clients to negotiate constraints and gain support through influencing internal practices and policies to deliver best in class lending experiences that meet the client, customer and commercial needs while remaining within regulatory and risk approved appetite
- Obsess about conversion, metrics and the customer experience to be competitive in the lending market
- Utilising a strong commercial mindset to drive the large proportion of the NatWest Boxed revenue line and business case
- Manage a team of Product Owners and Business Analysts and coach them on best practices to maximise the impact of features that are developed
- Work with your teams to understand and solve colleague and user problems aligned with our vision and business OKRs
- Create loved products, drive client and internal colleague engagement and efficiencies to help the Boxed business scale
- Champion a culture of experimentation and iteration in Natwest Boxed
- Ensure that work is appropriately scoped, estimated delivery goals are understood and progress against goals is clearly communicated to business stakeholders
The skills you'll need
- Experience building lending products but also commercially running them optimising for commercials and use of capital
- Strong knowledge of regulations across the lending product space in the UK and application across the customer experience
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- Excellent stakeholder relationship building and collaboration skills with ability to influence a variety of banking functions and executives with differing objectives
- Enough technical knowledge to work closely with engineers and architects
- Consumer and metrics-driven with the ability to produce conclusive, measurable results
It would be great if you also had
- B2B2C experience in terms of developing solutions for clients and their customers. How to operate in a B2B environment with large enterprise clients and delivering a core product across many clients
- Experience of working with Aggregators and optimising that channel as a source of acquisition
- Strong technical knowledge when it comes to designing APIs and front end experiences to enable seamless, easy to embed experiences
