Hourly Rate: £25 per hour (PAYE)
Location: Remote (UK-based learners)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am-4:30 pm (flexible scheduling available)
Role Focus: One-to-One Virtual Teaching for learners with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs

Are you a skilled educator with a passion for inclusive, accessible learning?

We are looking for Online SEN Specialist Teachers who can deliver high-quality, personalised education to children and young people with diverse and complex needs - all from the comfort of their own home. This role involves virtual one-to-one teaching, supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Sensory and Emotional Developmental Difficulties (SEMD), and medical conditions.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Creating Safe Digital Spaces: Build trust and engagement through secure, structured online sessions that promote emotional safety and academic confidence.
  • Delivering Tailored Virtual Learning: Design and implement bespoke online learning plans aligned with EHCPs and individual learner profiles.
  • Collaborating Remotely with Families: Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support progress and wellbeing beyond the virtual classroom.
  • Using Assistive Technology: Integrate digital tools and platforms to enhance accessibility, interaction, and learner independence.
  • Promoting Holistic Development: Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and self-esteem through trauma-informed and neurodiverse-friendly teaching strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, QTLS)
  • Minimum of two years' experience in SEN or inclusive education settings
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and ability to differentiate across core subjects
  • Experience supporting learners across Key Stages 1-4
  • Confidence using online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Classroom) and digital learning tools
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and legal right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training and commitment to online safety
