Job Title: HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver – Trunking & General Haulage – Tamworth
Location: Tamworth
Job Type: Ongoing / Long-Term
Pay: £20.00 per hour – paid weekly (PAYE or LTD Company)
Start Date: Immediate starts available
We’re recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night work in the Tamworth area.
This is a long-term position with immediate starts, lots of hours available, and clean trunking work with minimal handball. A great opportunity for experienced drivers seeking steady work and strong rates.
The Role:
Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on night trunking routes
Completing general haulage runs – no stores or multi-drop
Safely securing loads and carrying out daily vehicle checks
Accurately completing PODs and all relevant paperwork
Representing the company professionally at all times
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Up-to-date CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
Safety-focused, professional, and reliable
