A leading facilities maintenance company is seeking a skilled Handyman - Carpenter Bias for a permanent role on a static contract in Pewsey.This is a stable, full-time position offering an excellent work-life balance.
Key Benefits:
- Salary: £34,000 per annum
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
- Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
- Other: Company pension scheme & static site (no travel)
- Call out 1 in 6 £220.50 standby
- Overtime Saturdays 1.5x
- Overtime Sundays 2x
- Overtime Bank holidays 2x + day in lieu
- Some domestic experience would be good
- Perform a range of general maintenance including basic carpentry, plumbing, and minor decorative repairs (painting, patching).
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Respond efficiently to reactive maintenance requests from the on-site team.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled Handyman or maintenance role.
- Proficient in basic plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs.
- A proactive problem-solver who can work independently.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Relevant trade qualifications as NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry or Plumber is required.
