Summary
"We are looking to recruit full time night shift operative based at Turners Allerton Bywater depot
About role:
Monday to Friday
10 pm to 7 am
Main duties:
To oversee night operations and react to possible changes with minimum disruption to pre‑planned work.
Liaise with drivers and other depots to ensure efficient operations.
Site security encompassing regular walk‑round checks and entrance barrier control.
Basic computer literacy will be required to operate our internal systems.
Compliance with drivers’ hours regulations and company procedures is essential.
Full training on all operations will be given on days for circa 6 weeks, 8 hours per day, paid between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm.
A training rate of pay will be paid on days and a further increment for the night training.
Once fully trained on days you will then complete the three‑month probationary period on nights, i.e., 6 weeks.
Any other duties will be discussed at the interview stage."
