Summary
The States of Guernsey are looking for an Islands Safeguarding Partnership’ Business Manager to join the team in Quality Assurance.
The ‘Islands Safeguarding Partnership’ Business Manager manages the Safeguarding Partnership Business Support Team, which consists of an Executive Assistant and an Inter-Agency Training Co-ordinator.
The team supports the Islands Safeguarding Partnership Board/s to deliver their functions- developing, monitoring and challenging the effectiveness of Guernsey’s safeguarding arrangements, including multi-agency training, policy, performance and Serious Case Reviews.
The Business Manager is required to progress actions from the Safeguarding Partnership Boards and Sub-Groups; organising the activities of the Independent Chair, Boards and Sub-Groups; producing and implementing the Business Plan; working to promote the continuing improvement of effective multi-agency practice and positive outcomes for children, families and adults at risk.
