Are you passionate about English, education, and unlocking potential through literacy and communication? At Skills Centre Plus,
we're on a mission to change lives and make a difference, and we’re looking for someone like you to help us drive that mission
forward! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic English Specialist to help guide our learners toward brighter futures.

Working within a Post-16 alternative provision setting, you’ll be teaching and supporting learners with Education, Health and Care
Plans (EHCPs), many of whom benefit from personalised learning approaches. You’ll join a team of skilled, passionate tutors who
are committed to helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence, and develop both academic and life skills.

Skills Centre Plus, Scunthorpe
FTE Salary: £24,191 – £36,015 [dependent on experience]
Start Date: As soon as possible
Interview Date: TBC

What You'll Do:

* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that meet the unique needs of our diverse learners
* Help learners work toward key qualifications (e.g. Functional Skills, GCSE)
* Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and support needs, making use of differentiated strategies
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
* Collaborate with the wider team and contribute to cross-curricular learning opportunities

What We're Looking For:

* A qualified and passionate English specialist with relevant experience and a desire to teach in an SEN setting
* Experience working with learners who have SEN/SEMH needs is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate
* Flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to making a difference
* We’re especially interested in candidates who may also have experience or transferable skills in other areas we teach, such as
Motor Vehicle, Construction Trades, PSHE, or Employability Skills. A multi-skilled approach is highly valued in our setting.

At Skills Centre Plus, we believe in second chances, fresh starts, and the power of practical learning to transform lives. If you
