Are you an experienced asbestos professional looking for your next challenge?


We’re seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to deliver safe, compliant surveying services as part of our values-driven team.




This full-time, permanent role is based in Warrington, with travel to sites in Liverpool, St Helens, and Stonebridge.




As a key member of the Torus Assets team, you’ll conduct asbestos surveys, manage data, ensure legal compliance, and support the
ongoing development of our Asbestos Register, while providing expert advice to colleagues and consultants.




What you’ll be doing:

* Conduct all types of asbestos surveys (management, refurbishment, demolition) and produce professional, accurate reports.
* Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of asbestos management systems and the Asbestos Register.
* Ensure all data received from surveyors and consultants is validated and fit for purpose.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations and other relevant legislation.
* Provide technical advice and guidance on asbestos issues to internal teams and stakeholders.
* Collaborate across departments to enable maintenance and investment works to progress safely and efficiently.
* Contribute to delivering an operational plan that supports the Torus vision and values.
* Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and value for money in asbestos management practices.
* Take personal ownership of your professional development and contribute positively to the team environment.







What we’re looking for:

* Strong experience in carrying out all types of asbestos surveys and interpreting results.
* Level 4 construction or equivalent building experience
* Minimum requirement of P402 Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings or equivalent relevant qualification.
* In-depth knowledge of asbestos legislation and health & safety regulations.
* Familiarity with asbestos registers and data management systems.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.



Interview Process:

The interview will be competency-based, assessing your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and team collaboration.
Interviews will take place week commencing 1st September 2025.
