Summary
HGV Class 2 Driver - Newly Qualified Drivers Welcome
Location: Slough
Start Time: 0700
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Routes: Nationwide UK and Europe - drop-off locations vary daily
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver to join their team. The role involves carrying out the collection and recycling of IT equipment across the UK and Europe. Due to the nature of the work, overnight stays will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for the collection and transportation of IT equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of collections and deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during collections
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
Essential Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Driver CPC qualification
- Digital tachograph (tacho) card
- DIGI-Tacho card
- Ability to work away from home overnight as required
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
