Shape the Future of Our Estate – and Your Career
At Dignity Funerals, we’re proud to care for families across the UK with compassion, professionalism, and integrity. With over 550 sites nationwide, our property portfolio is central to how we deliver our services, and we’re looking for a strategic, commercially minded Property Finance Manager to help us manage it with precision and purpose.
This is a high-impact role where finance meets operations. You’ll oversee a combined £40 million in maintenance and capital budgets, guiding investment decisions, optimising costs, and ensuring financial compliance across a diverse estate of freehold and leasehold properties.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Be the strategic finance partner to our Property and Facilities teams, helping shape investment decisions and drive long-term value across a nationwide estate.
- Lead the financial planning cycle for property and fleet operations, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking with precision and insight.
- Support high-stakes property decisions by evaluating lease renewals, exits, disposals, and dilapidations—ensuring every move is financially sound and future-focused.
- Own the numbers behind the estate, managing tax filings, legal documentation, and compliance with group debt terms and accounting standards.
- Deliver powerful financial storytelling, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders, including the Group Executive Team.
Must haves we’re looking for this role:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with a strong foundation in financial principles and strategic thinking.
- Demonstrated success in property finance, ideally within multi-site portfolios, with a clear understanding of the complexities of freehold and leasehold estates.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive performance and value.
- Confident communicator and influencer, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and presenting financial information with clarity and impact.
- Solid grasp of lease accounting standards (including IFRS 16), dilapidations, and property-related tax and compliance requirements.
What we provide to you…
- Annual salary of up to £80,000 per annum.
- 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays.
- 10% Company Bonus.
- BUPA Healthcare (Self).
- Pension Scheme.
- Life Assurance X2.
- Access to our internal apprentice & personal development schemes.
