We are looking for a proactive and committed Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading the operational maintenance team, ensuring a consistent and world-class building maintenance service for our healthcare client stakeholders.
This includes overseeing day-to-day activities, planning and assigning work, and ensuring technical, contractual and statutory compliance across the healthcare portfolio.
You will also manage team performance in line with company policies and procedures, including recruitment, training and staff appraisals.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee ISS operations, ensuring compliance with policies and safe systems of work
Present daily/weekly operational reports and monthly summaries to the client
Ensure staff understand critical and non-critical systems
Maintain quality standards and statutory compliance across all facilities
Meet financial targets, reduce WIP and debt, and support contract growth
Manage outstanding jobs against SLAs, escalating where necessary
Act as Authorised Person (e.g. Water/Confined Space) and report in line with standards
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in building services, ideally within integrated FM; healthcare preferred but not essential
Strong working knowledge of CMMS and work order control
Skilled in subcontractor management, SLAs, and KPI delivery
Background in maintenance at supervisory or management level
Electrical bias or multiskilled with hands-on understanding of tools and systems
Familiar with high-risk activities and safe systems of work
Confident in people management with leadership potential for progression
