Summary
This position requires you to supervise the site engineering team and actively contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. You will assist with temporary works design schemes and work closely with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to effectively allocate labor, plant, and materials. A primary focus of the role is to ensure that all work activities are executed to the highest standards of quality, remain on program, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management: Manage the site setting-out team, overseeing their performance and professional development.

Technical Oversight: Be responsible for identifying and resolving technical problems that arise on site.

Subcontractor Coordination: Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work is completed in line with contractual requirements.

Resource Management: Ensure the engineering team has all current information and resources necessary to carry out their duties.

Planning & Reporting: Assist with the production of program, progress reports, and resource and cost plans.

Financials: Contribute to financial forecasting for the project.
About the Candidate:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

HNC/Degree in a Construction or Civil Engineering related field, or equivalent.

Working towards professional institute membership (ICE).

Demonstrable knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities, combined with strong construction supervision skills.

Proven experience in heavy structures is essential for this role.

SMSTS qualification is required.

CSCS Card (White, White/Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager, or Gold - Supervisor).

A full, valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
